Irish people are slow to warm up to change especially if it is something that is present in our daily lives.
Marathon Bars having the gall to go Snickers, Opal Fruits transitioning to Star Burst and the shops we frequent trying to change their perception deeply affect us. As a child of the 1980’s, the loss of St Bernard was devastating. There was a comfort and familiarity with the brand. It was a brand that you grew to love and endure as no one had any money in the 1980’s. 😜
All these years later I am finally channeling this betrayal and love for good old St Bernards into something creative.
