It was far from Netflix we were reared on! In the nineties and early noughties there was a sacred ritual in Ireland. It involved leaving the house and braving the elements in search of escapism. All roads in this scared pilgrimage led to Extra-Vision. It was here that children could convince their parents that ‘Childs Play’ was a kids movie, that young couples could rehearse the art of compromise and confrontation with fellow customers grabbing that last new release was inevitable.

Xtra-vision wasn’t perfect nor was it convenient, but it was a weekly experience that we cherished – even if you were subjected to the 50p penalty for not rewinding the VHS tape 😂😂😂

Sizes: A4 (210mm x 297mm) and A3 (297mm x 420mm). All prints are digitally printed to 189gsm Archival Matte paper with the option of single mount framing for both the A3 & A4 prints. All frames are handcrafted locally only using traditional hand tools with no machinery. The timber is sustainably sourced in Leinster. Frames are only available in Ireland.
