Meath NOT Meath – Up the Royals
My better half Lisa grew up in Meath and I have spent a lot of time traveling there in the last thirteen years.
It’s not Cork 😜, but it’s an amazing county. Between the Hill of Tara, Emerald Park, Newgrange, Trim Castle and Lisa’s hometown of Navan we have made a significant contribution to Meath’s GPD at this stage.
Meath were playing Louth in the Leinster final last weekend (May 10th, 2025) and I was fully on the bandwagon. It would have been Meath’s first championship since 2010, but it wasn’t to be – despite my best efforts screaming advice at the TV 😜
All the same – Up the Royals… unless you’re playing Cork 😜
