Well lads, it finally arrived. 📦🏆
After a slight delay in transit — approximately 75 years, give or take — Sam has finally made his way back to Mayo.
And as a Corkman, I’ll admit it’s hard not to be delighted for them. After everything Mayo supporters have been put through over the years, they’ve earned this one. So I’ve marked the occasion with a new print:
WELCOME HOME SAM
Brown paper, string, Mayo ribbons and a delivery history that would have An Post launching an internal investigation.
Dispatched 1951. Delivered 2026.
Congratulations Mayo. Enjoy every minute of having Sam home.
Although, being from Cork, I should probably clarify…
Mayo might be his holiday home.
We all know where his real home is. 😉
