Irish Time
Irish people live by the phrase, “I’ll be there in ten minutes”. This means if it is a Saturday, we will roughly be there next Wednesday at no set time. We seem to accept Irish people run on a different clock – IRISH TIME!
My better half Lisa has a habit of setting the house clocks ten minutes forward as a solution to being punctual. No where else in the world would this be logical and no she still manages to be late and me by association. This phenomon is definitely some kind of time dyslexia and its rampant in the Emerald Isle 😜😂
So, next time you are late, don’t make any excuses and tell the awaiting party that you run on IRISH TIME! 😎
