‘In the Name of the Father’ is a tragic tale of Gerry Conlon and his father Patrick “Giuseppe” Conlon who were wrongly accused and convicted of carrying out the Guildford pub bombings. During the case evidence that would have exonerated them was suppressed by the British prosecutors. The note on the file read, “not to be shown to the defence”.
