Following the overwhelming success of A United Cork, the Government of Cork has announced that the rest of Europe has now been incorporated into Greater Cork.
The decision was reached following an emergency meeting in the pub, where it was unanimously agreed that Cork was fierce small altogether and could do with a bit more room.
Under the new arrangement, England will henceforth be known as Corkshire, Spain as Costa del Cork, and Italy as Corkus Maximus.
Germany has been reclassified as Dowtchaland, while Austria will operate as The Cork Alps, pending further investigation.
France has been renamed Hand-Ball-ia and Thierry Henry has been officially banished.
Dublin, having previously been relocated to New Corklin, has now been moved to Moldova and renamed New Dublin, where it is hoped it will cause less trouble.
The Mediterranean has also been divided between the Beamish and Murphy’s authorities, with all other seas now falling under Cork jurisdiction.
Residents of the newly acquired territories are advised that there will be no changes to their daily lives, apart from a slight adjustment in attitude and the requirement to acknowledge Cork as The Real Capital.
Further expansion is not being ruled out at this time.
