I left school twenty-two years ago. I’m confident that statute of limitations has passed and I can confess, that I mitched from school at least two times – that I can remember.

Mitching from school was a military operation of finding the right comrades, pin-pointing a venue and everyone smoking, but me. I almost felt as though I was only being half a rebel. The main cigarette of choice for my generation of misfits was Marlboro Lights or if you were a hardened smoker, it would be Benson and Hedges.

And yes, I did take the odd drag of a cigarette, but I assure you that I DID NOT INHALE! 😇😂
