Craic is an Irish slang term we effectionally use to describe fun. I am always conscious of using this term to the uninitiated foreigner and I revel in their interpretation of said colloquialism. The best of these exchanges (for me) involved a Frenchman looking for a structural weakness in a public house wall because he overheard that “there was mighthy craic in the pub”.

As any friendly Irish person would do, I immediately joined in on looking for any cracks in the wall, ceilings or floor of the aforementioned public house. I took us a solid two hours to figure it out 🤣.

This memory gave me the idea to approach our beloved slang in a very literal manner and what’s more dramatic than ‘Mighty Craic’… 😂
