I Forgot to Keep Her Lit
‘Keep her lit’ is another fantastically descriptive Irish saying. When I was younger I always took this saying literally – thinking that a candle must have been extinguished or someone didn’t throw enough coal on the fire. Over the last thirty years I have dedicated my life to the study of ‘Keeping it lit”. Through painstaking research and Government funded academic studies, I have formed a conclusion. I present to you my findings entitled, “I forgot to keep it lit”. 😜😂
