On the last night out I had in Cork City, I struck up a conversation with middle-aged man. After a few pints the conversation led to politics, which annoyed me as I wanted to enjoy my night. So, I decided I would go full Eamon Dunphy and turned myself in to Captain Contrarian. I stood behind outrageous beliefs, disagreed with everything the fairly well on man had said to me and generally stirred the pot. Finally he cracked and said, “you’re playing a very dangerous game bhoy”. I immediately whipped out my phone, took down the idea and swiftly thanked the stranger with a pint. 😂
