Irish Protest

Protests are fraught with anger over a perceived injustice in society. I one-hundred percent support the right to peaceful protest, even if I don’t agree with a particular cause.

What excites me most about protests though – are the placards. Irish people are the best at creating the most ingenious signage.

Like the following:

“The People behind me can’t see”
“My arms are tired from holding this sign”
“I only came here because I was promised cake”
“No foreign Sports” (protestor was wearing a Celtic tracksuit)
“This shower couldn’t run a bath”
“Down with Zippers”
“What would Optimus Prime do”
“A lot of things are actually going well”
“Down with that sort of thing”
“Careful Now”

However, my all-time favourite Irish protest sign has to be, “I’M SO ANGRY I MADE THIS SIGN” 😂
